Schaumburg man injured in Streamwood motorcycle crash

A 45-year-old Schaumburg man was injured when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed Monday on Barrington Road near South Green Meadows Boulevard in Streamwood, police said.

The man was traveling north on Barrington Road just before noon when he attempted to turn left into a strip mall and lost control on the road's median, Deputy Police Chief Daryl Syre said.

The man, whose name was not disclosed by police, sustained head injuries, and was airlifted by Flight for Life to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
