Main Street Cabaret comes to St. Charles Friday

Vero Voce Theater presents the Arlington Heights-based organization, Main Street Cabaret, for one performance only, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, at the Pheasant Run Mainstage Theater, 4051 E. Main St. in St. Charles.

Established in 2013 by director Robin Rotela, Main Street Cabaret performs music theater revue style shows of varying themes at venues all over the Chicago area. The group utilizes several talented vocalists and pianists who rotate performing the shows.

Main Street Cabaret brings their "Seasons of Love" to Pheasant Run, a compilation of songs about love: looking for it, falling in it, enjoying it and losing it. Audience members will enjoy songs from several shows, from the older classics such as "Carousel" and "West Side Story," to newer contemporary shows like "The Last Five Years" and 'If/Then." There are songs for all ages and interests of music theater to enjoy!

"What I love about our show is that performances are always unique. Although we often repeat themes, songs are always changed, making every show a new one. As much as I love the performances, the planning of each show is just as exciting," says Robin Rotela, music director.

Main Street Cabaret's "Seasons of Love" includes vocalists Danielle Linn-Scampini (Chesterton, Ind.), Oana Odean (Chicago), and Robin Rotela (Arlington Heights), with piano accompanist Ken McMullen (Palatine).

Tickets are $15 general admission and may be purchased online at www.verovoce.com or by calling (630) 584-6342.

Vero Voce Theater was established in 2012 drawing some of the best non-equity actors in Chicago and the western suburbs.
