The Chicago Blackhawks will open their 2016-17 NHL regular-season schedule at home against division rival St. Louis on Oct. 12, team officials announced Monday.

According to reports from Nashville, the Blackhawks will travel there on Oct. 14 when the Predators host their home opener at Bridgestone Arena.

 

Game times will be announced at a later date, and the full regular-season NHL schedule is expected to be released at noon Tuesday.
