Darwin closes lease on Elk Grove Village property

ELK GROVE VILLAGE - Darwin Realty recently completed a new lease on a 58,627 square foot warehouse and office space for Porreca Freight at 1850 Greenleaf Ave. in Elk Grove Village.

Elmhurst-based Darwin Realty's President Richard G. Daly represented the tenant in the transaction.

Porreca Freight, a company that provides full local pick up and delivery services throughout the Chicago area, is expanding its warehouse and office. They selected the free-standing building because of its high velocity loading capacity in the heart of the O'Hare market, 11 exterior docks, two drive-in doors, 16' foot ceiling clear heights and ample parking.

"There is a shortage of buildings in the O'Hare market with abundant loading and trailer parking," said

Daly. "The new location will give my client flexibility to warehouse and deliver their clients' product on a timely basis."

Colliers International's Jonathan Kohn and Tom Rodeno represented the landlord in the transaction.
