Bartlett Library partners with Give Me Five for educational opportunities

The Bartlett Library is offering patrons new learning material called "Stories Alive Kits," which contain a variety of educational resources to extend children's literature with hands-on activities.

The kits promote five early childhood development concepts: Talk, play, read, do and write. In total, there are six kits available to check out: "Discover Color" (two kits), "ABC Zoom," "Cooking Up Counting," "Bear-A-Rama" and "Tractor Tales." These kits are located upstairs in the Bartlett Library's Youth & Teen Services Department.

Along with three to four books in each kit, there are various puzzles, games, toys, discussion questions and even art supplies in them depending on which one a patron checks out.

This resource was made possible through a partnership between the Bartlett Library and "The Give Me Five Program" at School District U-46.
