Salute to Summer

A closing celebration for the children that attend Saint Alphonsus Liguori School in Prospect Heights was held on June 5. After a stressful year of not knowing if the school of 58 years would be staying open, the children and parents celebrated by attending a closing Mass followed by a pot luck dinner. The guest of honor was Tommy Hawk, mascot of the Chicago Blackhawks.

"Saint Alphonsus Liguori School is here to stay and we couldn't be prouder", said Marketing and Development Director Betty Cloud.

Financial assistance is available for qualifying families.

"School will proudly be back in session on Monday, August 22. Tours of this wonderful school are held each morning Monday through Thursday. Call for an appointment at (847) 255-5538," said Cloud.
