St. Charles North, East drill teams present check to American Cancer Society
It was a great night, filled with lots of emotion, as St. Charles East and North High school dance team members cheered on cancer survivors and their caregivers at the annual Relay For Life of Kane County on Friday, June 3, at the Fifth Third Ballpark in Geneva. The teams presented their check donation of $15,522.15 to the American Cancer Society.
The girls are proud to have raised the money to benefit such a wonderful organization who help so many families who have and continue in their fight against cancer.
The drill teams will be fundraising again this year, and their annual Kick-A-Thon event will be taking place on Friday, Sept. 16, at St. Charles North High School.
Come join in the fun and help the teams continue in their efforts to help "kick" cancer.
