Cadence Premier Logistics to build new HQ in Joliet

JOLIET - Cadence Premier Logistics has broken ground on a 143,560 square-foot corporate headquarters facility at 2250 Chicago St. in the Laraway Crossings Corporate Center in Joliet.

The construction of the build-to-suit facility is being led by Minneapolis-based developer Ryan Companies.

Financial terms were not disclosed. John Whitehead, vice president with Oakbrook Terrace-based NAI Hiffman's Industrial Services Group, represented Cadence Premier Logistics in both the sale and build-to-suit transactions.

The purchase and development represents significant growth for the Alsip-based company who will now have expanded operational functionality and access to broader distribution networks nationally. The property will include more than 400 trailer parking spaces and approximately 40,000 square feet of office space.
