Outdoor space can be a home's main selling point

I bought my house in December, mainly because of the Florida room, deck, back patio and big backyard. I had to take a tree down & have squared off the deck, but now that it's all done, I'm at a loss of what to do next.

Fire pit?? Nice patio furniture?? I grill a lot, too, so maybe a brick charcoal fireplace/grill? Help!

Budget: Less than $10,000

The concrete patio appears to be in great condition and offers a lot of room for outdoor furniture. There is a lack of seating and shade.

Suggestions:

• Fire pit. It looks like you have a lot of room here. If you would like a nice gas fire pit, they start at $1,500 We carry over 40 fire pits. You can choose from several wood fire pits made from copper by Jatex International, gas fire pits made from retired wine barrels by Vin De Flame, or more than 2 dozen gas fire pits that match their respective outdoor furniture sets.

• Charcoal grill. We carry Kamado Joe and Weber charcoal grills. You can't go wrong with a Kamado Joe. Additionally, all Kamodo Joe charcoal grills are red, which can add a nice color scheme to your patio.

• Dining set. Depending on how you are entertaining, I would probably recommend an oval table with six chairs with either sling or cast aluminum. You can get a good dining set for $2,500 to $4,000. The Patio Renaissance Mandalay set would be fabulous.

• Deep-seating sectional. A Lloyd Flanders deep seating sectional with red cushions would really compliment the red Kamodo Joe grill.
