'Spring into Summer' fundraiser for senior council at Twin Lakes

The Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council will hosts its summer kickoff fundraiser, "Spring into Summer!" from 5:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, at Salt Creek Park District-Twin Lakes, 1200 E. Twin Lakes Drive, in Palatine.

Benefiting the Palatine Township Senior Center "Spring" on over to Twin Lakes with some friends to enjoy food, drinks, music, games and raffles under the tent and on the deck. Presale tickets are $20 each or $18 for 5 or more, or $25 at the door and include an appetizer buffet from 6-7:30 p.m., beer from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and a door prize ticket.

50/50 Raffle tickets are available for $2 each, three for $5, 10 for $10 or 25 for $20 in advance or at the event and you don't need to be present to win. Fantastic raffle baskets are also available for the same price per ticket at the event.

Raffle prizes include tickets to the Arcada Theatre, water parks, Medieval Times, Schaumburg Boomers, Kane County Cougars, Volo Auto Museum, and gift cards to terrific restaurants and family attractions, several fun "beverage" related items, and much more, Tickets can be purchased at the Palatine Township Senior Center at 505 S Quentin Road or at www.ptscc.org.

PTSCC provides programs and services which support older adults and their families by encouraging independence, well-being and connection to the community.
