David Adler Music and Arts Center Announces Summer Art and Music Classes for All Ages
The David Adler Music and Arts Center announces open registration for a creative array of art and music classes that begin July 11th.
Music Instruction
The David Adler Music and Arts Center offers individual music instruction for all ages and abilities in piano, violin, cello, guitar, ukulele, voice, viola, banjo and more. Suzuki instruction and group classes are available for violin, viola, and cello. Suzuki students may begin at age 3.
Summer Art Classes
A wide variety of art classes for children and adults are taught in picturesque studios surrounding David Adler historic home. Classes begin May 2 and run through June 8 with no class on Memorial Day. Beginners are always welcome.
Drawing for Ages 5-8: This class is designed for both beginning and continuing artists. Youth will create works of art using a variety of drawing techniques, including perspective, composition, shading, and blending colors. Designed for continuing students and beginners alike. July 11 - August 15. Mondays, 5:15 - 6:30 pm.
Drawing for Ages 9-13: This class is designed for both beginning and continuing artists. Youth will create works of art using a variety of drawing techniques, including perspective, composition, shading, and blending colors. Designed for continuing students and beginners alike. July 13 - August 17. Wednesdays, 5:15 - 6:30 pm.
Adult and Teen: Independent Study: Teens and adults can receive personalized instruction on a project of their own choosing. Come to class with an image or idea and receive instruction and guidance as you complete your project. Ages 14 and up. July 12 - August 16. Tuesdays, 5:15 - 6:30 pm.
Art and Wine Workshops: Follow along in this relaxing step-by-step workshop as you receive art instruction and learn techniques to paint your own acrylic painting. "Bring Your Own Bottle" to enjoy, listen to music, and complete your own personal masterpiece.
Saturday Youth Art Workshops: Create a fun and colorful canvas in these monthly step-by-step workshops for youth ages 5 and up. Bring a friend, and spend an hour creating your very own take-home masterpiece.
