Mount Prospect man pleads guilty to drug charge

A Mount Prospect man who authorities say sold cocaine to an undercover police officer last August pleaded guilty to drug charges, court records show.

In exchange for his plea to narcotics delivery, Kenzo Yoshimura, 20, was sentenced to 42 days in Cook County Jail, 24 months probation and ordered to pay $2,814 in fines.

Prosecutors said police received information about drug sales in Mount Prospect and contacted Yoshimura, who agreed to sell the undercover officers cocaine.
