Church on the Rock to host leadership training seminar

Dr. Leon van Rooyen of Global Ministry and Relief, Inc., will conduct a three-session Leadership Training Seminar on Friday evening, June 3, and Saturday, June 4, at Church on the Rock, 17N230 Manning Road in Huntley.

On Sunday morning, he will conduct the graduation service for the Class of 2016 at the Church's Rock School of the Bible. Graduating Bible school students have successfully completed an in-depth two-year diploma program for personal discipleship and ministry leadership.

The public is welcome. There are no registration fees to attend, but reservations are advised since lunch will be provided on Saturday.

Sessions will begin at 7 p.m. Friday and continue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Group leaders, nonprofit groups, ministry leaders, teachers, pastors, and anyone interested in developing leadership and ministry are welcome to attend.

Van Rooyen is president and founder of Global Ministries and Relief which facilitates medical teams in nations ravaged by civil war, famine, and flooding, and building orphanages and feeding thousands in their heartbreaking fight for survival. He has launched over 1,000 Bible schools and Schools of Ministry throughout the world, ministering in many nations, different cultures and languages.

Rock School of the Bible facilitates affordable, locally administered, nationally accredited studies for the high-school to adult level for personal development and ministry, and also college-level degrees (associate and bachelor of arts) in six areas of study.
