Annual golf classic to support Behavioral Health program

Since 1989, the Presence St. Joseph Hospital Golf Classic has been a "must attend" golf outing event in the Fox Valley area.

Money raised from the event will help create a better environment for the growing number of Behavioral Health patients in our local community with the renovation of the Behavioral Health Department at Presence St. Joseph Hospital.

The need for your support of Presence Health's efforts in this area are greater than ever as they are faced with reduced funding at the national and state levels.

This year's Golf Classic will be held Wednesday, July 13, at the premiere Elgin Country Club, 2575 Weld Road in Elgin. The 18-hole championship course takes you on watered fairways through hills and valleys, complete with stands of old oaks and hickory trees, and ponds stocked with fish. It is a nature lover's delight that changes beautifully with each season. Guaranteed a great day, for $250 a golfer, guests will experience a boxed lunch, delicious hors d'oeuvres with cocktails and dinner in addition to contests and special raffles.

To sign up, visit www.presencehealth.org/saint-joseph-hospital-elgin-golf.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with lunch at 11 a.m. shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. It will be followed by cocktails and dinner at 6 p.m. To attend the dinner only, cost is $75.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available. For information, contact Mike Jostes at Mike.Jostes@presencehealth.org.
