Got a great Geneva photo? Submit it for city's exhibit

Do you have a great Geneva photo?

The city's International Cultural Exchange Committee and Water Street Studios are seeking pictures to be included in a photo exhibition this summer in France.

The images will be printed and sent in September to Croissy-sur-Seine, a suburb of Paris and cultural exchange partner city with Geneva.

The photo exhibit, which will be accompanied by some historical Geneva artifacts, will give our French friends insight into our city's charm and beauty. Work also will be displayed at Water Street Studios in Batavia during January 2017.

The call for entries is open to both amateur and professional photographers, who may submit up to three images for consideration. Photos may include but are not limited to landmarks, historical architecture, everyday life, sports/leisure and nature. All images must be taken within the city's boundaries.

Specific formatting requirements, submission rules and a consent form can be found at www.icecgeneva.org. There is no fee to apply, although artwork may be used for a fundraiser to help offset the cost of the exhibition. The submission deadline is Tuesday, May 31.

Geneva's International Cultural Exchange Committee has forged strong friendships with Croissy-sur-Seine during the past eight years, including several delegation visits across the Atlantic Ocean.
