Bartlett police arrest three in home burglary, seek fourth suspect

Two men and a juvenile face residential burglary charges after Bartlett police arrested them while responding to a burglary in progress at a home in the 100 block of Wilcox Drive Saturday night, authorities said.

A witness called police about 6:50 p.m. Saturday after hearing glass break and seeing four males enter the home through a broken rear window, according to Bartlett police.

Officers arrested Travious Brown-Utley, 18, of the 1100 block of Longford Road in Bartlett, and Reginald C. Tyus, 18, of the 1400 block of Bear Flag Drive in Hanover Park, while they were inside the home, police said.

A 17-year-old boy also was detained after he ran from the scene, said police, who continue to search for a fourth suspect who fled on foot.

All three suspects are charged with residential burglary. The 17-year-old also is charged with resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

Brown-Utley and Tyus were taken to the DuPage County Jail in Wheaton where they await bond hearings. The 17-year-old was taken to DuPage County Juvenile Court and later released to his parents.
