JustPlay! brings action-packed festival to Carol Stream

Unless you're a thrill-seeking adrenaline junkie, most of us can't spend an action-packed day rock climbing, scuba diving, zip lining, paddle boarding and kayaking.

But JustPlay! Sports & Recreation Festival in Carol Stream Saturday offered all that - and way, way more.

Maybe some folks dabbled in one or two of the more than 100 free activities organized by the Carol Stream Park District for the annual event.

But nobody was really counting.

Because the idea was to "just play," to shake off the winter doldrums, get outside and unplug.
