Summer Eco Camps offered at Abbey Farms

Abbey Farms, 2855 Hart Road in Aurora, is offering Eco Camps this summer for children entering first through third grade. These Eco Camps are a great way for boys and girls to have summer fun while learning on the farm.

Four separate sessions are available: 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 20-24; 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 27-July 1; and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. July 5-8 and July 11-15. The cost of each session is $150.

Abbey Farms' Eco Camps bring together the arts, science and play for an educational week of fun on the farm. Throughout each session, students will gain hands-on experience in the Abbey Farms garden.

They will learn how seeds grow, the role of worms in farming, build a bug hotel and make paper. They also will form new friendships through scheduled playtime on Abbey Farms' many attractions.
