I saw this pair of swans in a retention pond and wanted to photograph them. I waited until they both moved into the frame so that I could get a picture of both together. The water gently rippled and reflected the green cast of the trees nearby.

The Pakistani Monument in Islamabad, Pakistan. I wanted to go to a country with a large Muslim community to see for myself what the average people are really like, not the publicity in US papers. Someone told me once, "if you want to know about me, ask me. Don't go to someone else!", so I seized the opportunity and I did. Muslims are people who have good and bad the same as us in the USA and no more dangerous than living in our large metropolitan areas, maybe less.
