The Warriors (19-8, 13-6) moved into a first-place tie in the DuPage Valley Conference, breaking open the game with an 8-run third inning. Quinton Zielke and Joe Spano had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Winning pitcher Jason Neville improved to 8-0. Paul Dobravec homered and drove in 2 runs for Naperville North (12-12, 10-9).
Wheaton North 9, Naperville Central 1:
The Falcons (15-11, 11-8) rolled in the DuPage Valley Conference, dropping Naperville Central (19-8, 13-6) into a first-place tie with Waubonsie Valley. Casey Becker struck out eight in a complete-game effort. Ryan Muehlfelt went 3-for-4 while Pat Leahy had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Connor Gurnik and Beau Buchanan had 2 hits for the Redhawks.
Glenbard East 5, East Aurora 0:
Brett Tomlinson faced only one batter over the minimum in a 3-hitter with 2 strikeouts and no walks for the Rams (20-7, 13-2 Upstate Eight Valley). Richard Masciopinto had 3 of Glenbard East's 4 hits and drove in 2 runs.

The Bison won in Metro Suburban Conference West action as Brendan Tomczak pitched a 3-hitter. Fenton scored the game's only run in the bottom of the fifth.
