No sympathy for lawmakers who block governor

In his letter to the editor of May 2, state Sen. Mike Noland says, " ... the citizens of this state can only watch and observe as this governor, ruminating over his failed agenda, stands in ruinous opposition to meeting the just demands of our people."

Oh please, give us a break. The only failed agenda is that of countless liberal Democrats who have run this state into the ground for decades. The only solutions they have ever provided are higher taxes, and of course, more spending.

Gov. Rauner is our last hope of saving this state from ruin. If you don't grasp his ideas and support them, we are done. And you know it.

Sen. Noland also said, "Now, the comptroller has taken to withholding our pay as legislators." Oh Boohoo.

Try to find sympathy with the taxpayers who just passed New Jersey to become No. 1 with the highest property taxes in the nation.

Stop blaming Gov. Rauner and look in the mirror!
