Culver's of Zion to host fundraiser for local mom

Team members at the Culver's restaurant in North suburban Zion will rally in support of a mother of two young students at nearby Westfield school who is in the fight of her life.

Culver's has announced a "Night of Giving" Monday, May 16, and will donate 10 percent of sales from 5-8 p.m. to the family of Angelica Oglesby, who is currently battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy.

Culver's will also have a prize wheel on hand throughout the evening. Guests who donate $1 will spin the wheel to win various Culver's coupons and other prizes.

"The entire community stands together with Angie and her family," said Culver's of Zion owner Ed Rich.

"Having pride in and actively supporting the surrounding community is woven into the fabric of Culver's. It's a hard thing that Angie and her family are going through and we can only hope and pray for the best."

Culver's of Zion is at 3335 Sheridan Road. For information, call (847) 872-9401.
