St. Charles library to host plant exchange May 14

The St. Charles Public Library will be hosting its second annual plant exchange from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 14, in the Huntley Meeting Room, 1 S. Sixth Ave.

Simply bring labeled plants to exchange while taking plants for your own yard or garden.

All types of plants are welcome, including small cuttings up to full-size vegetable, herbs, ground cover, flowers, wild grasses, vines, bushes and bulbs. This is an excellent way to get a variety of plants for your yard or garden this spring.

They also will be collecting vegetable plants for the local nonprofit organization The GardenWorks Project.

For information, please stop by the reference desk, or call (630) 584-0076, ext. 1.
