Softball: Naperville North defeats Waubonsie Valley

Naperville North 4, Waubonsie Valley 3:

The Huskies won the tight DuPage Valley Conference softball game with a run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Sarah Smith drove in 2 runs for Naperville North and pitcher Dani Biesiada went the full seven innings to win the pitchers' duel against Waubonsie's Stephanie Wilczynski.

Boys volleyball

Fenton d. IMSA:

The Bison won the nonconference match 25-19, 25-21. Javy Sanchez knocked down 5 kills for Fenton, which got 1 kill and 2 blocks from Freddie Bajo.

Glenbard West d. Hinsdale Central:

The Hilltoppers moved to 25-0 with the West Suburban Silver victory, 25-11, 25-7. Paulie Bischoff had a complete game with 19 assists, 6 digs, 4 blocks, 2 aces and a kill. Kyler Kotsakis had 5 kills, 4 blocks, 2 digs and an ace and Will Church registered 5 blocks and 2 kills.

Downers Grove North d. Oak Park:

Also in the West Suburban Silver, Downers North defeated Oak Park 25-22, 25-16. Leo Malik and Brian Long each tallied 7 kills.
