Boys volleyball: Libertyville falls short against Lakes
Boys volleyball
Lakes d. Libertyville: Missing 18 serves certainly didn't help Libertyville's cause in a 25-21, 23-25, 23-25 loss to Lakes in boys volleyball Monday.
"I chalk this up to inexperience and inconsistency," Libertyville coach Jenny Smith said. "A great learning opportunity for us, and a chance for us to hit the practice gym hard before playing another conference team on Wednesday."

Sam Kharasch added 15 digs while Jack Stevens had 12 kills and Brendan Cook and Drew Fortini had 6 kills each.
Mark Demaree also had 4 blocks for Libertyville, which drops to 17-8.
Lake Forest d. Lake Zurich: Despite 10 kills from Alex Krasowski and 9 kills from Nick Meyer, Lake Zurich couldn't overcome Lake Forest and lost, 23-25, 25-21, 25-27.
