American Junior Golf Association Preview 1st-round results

Results from the first round of competition in the American Junior Golf Association Preview at The Glen Club in Glenview, a 36-hole stroke-play event, were released Saturday.

High school sophomore Tyler Leach of Spring Valley, Wisconsin, is tied with Northern Illinois University commit Michael Mattas of Streamwood for the lead. Both scored 1-over-par 73 to lead the Boys Division after the first round. Leach and Mattas jointly carded five birdies and made par on the hardest hole on the course.
