Schaumburg Police to Host Senior Scam Presentation on May 10

The Schaumburg Police Department will host a free senior scam presentation in May to raise awareness of scams that target senior citizens.

The presentation will be offered twice on Tuesday, May 10; once at 10:30 a.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. No seats are available for the morning session, however, seats still remain for the evening session. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to the Schaumburg Township District Library at (847) 985-4000.

Both presentations will be held in the Rasmussen Room South of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd. Vendor tables and refreshments will be provided one hour prior to each presentation.

The event is free and open to the public. Caregivers and family members of senior citizens are encouraged to attend. Speakers will include detectives from the Schaumburg Police Department Investigations Division.
