District 62 board member resigns due to new job in New York
Terry Lindsay, who is serving his second term on the Des Plaines Elementary District 62 school board, has announced that he is resigning and his last board meeting is May 16. Lindsay, associate professor and Dean of Diversity and Intercultural Programs, North Park University, has accepted a position at a college in New York, District 62 said in a board newsletter. Lindsay was re-elected to the board last year. Plans for selecting someone to fill out the term haven't yet been announced.
