Unlock the secret to great employees

Presented by Career Vision

Today's managers have learned the importance of "hiring the right people." What we often overlook is how management develops and aligns our employee's talents with the organization's goals.

The desire to learn and the knowledge that a company is invested in one's growth are frequently cited as key components of employee retention and job satisfaction.

The secret to unlock the potential of your people is to engage them in planning based on your goals, both current and future, with the understanding of how each individual's talent and potential can contribute to the achievement of those goals.

Career Vision works with businesses to identify talent and help managers and employees craft a conversation about the future. This conversation is based on real information and business goals, and it demonstrates your commitment to employee development and satisfaction.

How do we do this?

• Our comprehensive assessments are based on aptitudes. Aptitude is potential. It can be thought of as a knack, gift, or talent for acquiring and performing specific workplace skills quickly and easily. These objective measurements look at strengths and put the focus on where the employee best "fits" and can contribute to the organization - both now and over time.

• Our ability to incorporate emotional intelligence supports the importance of self-awareness and collaboration.

• Our process provides the best short cut for managers and employees to begin the conversation about what skills to focus on building now and where they fit into your business.

How does this work?

Our programs are customized to fit your organization's goals.

• Individual Employee Development: Essentially, this is an employee benefit, much like a course or training program. It coaches the employee to discuss their strengths and work with management to develop their growth. The information from the assessment belongs to the employee.

• Organizational Employee Development: This program is typically sponsored by a manager. There is a preliminary discussion that frames current and future options within the organization. While the assessments are comparable across the programs, the information is shared with the employee and with the manager or organization. There are different ways to incorporate the information sharing.

• Team Building: When constructing a team, it is best to play to people's strengths. Every manager knows that interpersonal relationships are critical in moving forward with some urgency and collaboration. Respecting individual differences and the contributions one makes is a fun component of developing team-building skills. These programs are customized.
