Girls water polo: Fremd handles Mundelein
Mid-Suburban West girls water polo champ Fremd added a nonconference win on Wednesday with a 13-2 decision against Mundelein.
A Vikings attack which included seven goal-scorers was led by Becca Rutkowski with 4. Karolina Urban and Emily Kini both scored twice, and keeper Emma Jeronimus made 12 saves.
• Palatine dropped a 5-3 decision in nonconference play against St. Charles North.
