Vernon Hills library to host comic convention
Vernon Hills' Aspen Drive Library will host a mini comic book convention Saturday. The free event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the library, 701 Aspen Drive. Comic book-themed crafts and activities are planned, and people can come dressed as their favorite characters. Prizes will be awarded for some costumes. No registration is required.
