Not everyone from Fox Lake will be able to fly down to Rio de Janeiro this summer to cheer on Grant High School graduate Daniel Dennis as he grapples for Olympic gold. So his hometown gave him a send-off yesterday that blended patriotism with high school spirit, while also honoring the Grant Bulldogs' rich wrestling tradition. New half marathon for women finds fitting home in Naperville

Naperville knows a little something about running, having hosted marathons, triathlons and 5Ks in the last several years. So when organizers from Premier Event Management were looking for a place to stage their newest race, a Women's Half Marathon and 5K, they didn't have to think too hard or long before choosing Naperville. Two hospitalized after Arlington Heights crash

Two people were extricated from a vehicle and hospitalized Sunday after a crash in Arlington Heights, fire officials said. Three vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred about 10:30 a.m. at Arlington Heights Road and Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights Fire Lt. William Rodgers said. Full story.
