Concerts to benefit Pioneer Center programs

Two concerts at the Woodstock Opera House are planned that will benefit Pioneer Center.

Bach to Rock, featuring the music of Classical Blast and Kashmir, will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 29. Tickets are $38/28. Classical Blast performs classic rock music from Pink Floyd, Metallica, Eric Clapton, Radiohead, U2, The Police and many others, combining both classical and rock instruments.

Kashmir is a Led Zeppelin show that seeks to recreate the mindset of a '70s Zeppelin show, utilizing authentic vintage stage gear, costumes and special effects.

New Colony Six will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 30. Tickets are $46/$36. Chicago's original garage band has long reigned as undisputed leaders of the Windy City's 1960s Rock Revolution.

Featuring the sounds that made them one of the most respected bands to come out of Chicago. Some of their chart-toppers include "I Confess" and "I Will Always Think About You."
