Barbershop chorus to perform two concerts

The Fox Valley Men of Harmony barbershop chorus is celebrating its 70th annual show this spring. They will be doing their usual show in Elgin, plus one in Crystal Lake.

The show in Elgin will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at the First United Methodist Church, 216 E. Highland Ave.

The Crystal Lake show will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday May 1, at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 932 S. McHenry Ave.

The theme of this year's shows is spiritual music. It will feature the chorus, three chapter quartets and a women's ensemble, Girl's Nite Out.

Tickets are $15 or $8 for students; free for kids younger than 5. Tickets can be purchased from Jack Wine at (815) 459-6910 or at the door.
