"I have never as a player, coach or fan witnessed such an epic comeback," said St. Viator coach John Scotillo after he saw his team give up 8 unearned runs before the big rally.

The game was tied 9-9 before BG scored the 8 unearned runs in the top of the sixth.

"When they came into the dugout after giving up 8 runs, I told them, 'Hey, we've already scored 9 runs so let's score 9 more,' " Scotillo said. "Good thing they over achieved and scored 13 because nine weren't enough (BG scored 2 in the top of the seventh)."

St. Viator batted around twice.

Grace Kaiser, Breslin and Meg Naughton each had 4 hits for the Lions. Cece Kaiser and Cam VamValkenburg had 3 apiece.

"Our last couple of games we have been winning ugly," Scotillo said. "But we're happy to be 6-3 right now."
