New leader for Lake County GOP
Lake County's Republican Party leaders elected a new chairman Wednesday. Mark Shaw, of Lake Forest, was chosen for the post, which comes with a two-year term. He replaces Mike Amrozowicz, who didn't run for re-election. The election was held during the GOP's biennial convention. The same night, Lake County Democrats re-elected state Sen. Terry Link as their party's chairman at a similar event.
