Palatine police to host property auction
After years of auctioning off property on the Internet, the Palatine Police Department next month will host an on-site auction of items from their property room, including more than 90 bicycles, assorted tools and jewelry.
The auction will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, but the items will be on display starting at 9 a.m. It takes place at the police vehicle garage, accessible by driving east along the south side of the police station at 595 N. Hicks Road.
Payments for auction items can be made using cash and personal check, with a valid form of ID.
