DuPage Medical Group acquires Joliet practice

NAPERVILLE - DuPage Medical Group announced it has acquired Wunderlich MD, SC, a family and internal medicine group in Joliet, adding four new members to DMG's team of physicians.

Terms of the acquisition were not announced.

Located at 2000 Glenwood Ave., Suite 107, Wunderlich MD began is currently accepting DMG patients. The addition expands DMG's service footprint even further in Joliet and Will County. The physicians joining DMG include:

• Dr. Andrew Wunderlich, a board-certified internal medicine physician, is a graduate of Northwestern University and earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his residency at Mayo Clinic.

• Dr. Timothy Doyle with more than 20 years' experience in family medicine earned his medical degree and fulfilled a residency at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.

• Dr. Keyur Chauhan, a board-certified family medicine physician, earned a medical degree from Government Medical College in Surat, India, and completed his residency at Mid Hudson Family Health Institute in Kingston, New York.

• Dr. Marionette Jayaprakash, board-certified in internal medicine, earned a medical degree from St. Johns Medical College Hospital in Bangalore, India and fulfilled her residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center through the University of Illinois at Chicago.
