Images: #TBT Gallery features celebrities in the suburbs

From 1970 to 2003, we had the opportunity to document some famous faces when they visited the suburbs.
Sports stars like Pete Rose, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the Harlem Globetrotters and Arnold Palmer met with fans and signed autographs. Entertainers such as Danny Thomas, Jack Klugman and Bob Hope visited. DeKalb-born supermodel Cindy Crawford returned to Chicagoland to visit with schoolchildren. Apollo 13 astronauts Jack Swigert and James Lovell saw fans at O'Hare International Airport. Even presidents and presidential candidates like Reagan and Ford came through town. Do you remember attending any of these events? We'd love to hear your stories!
