McFun for Mark Twain Elementary School

On Tuesday, April 5th, Mark Twain Elementary School held a McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald's in Wheeling. The Mark Twain McTeacher's Night was a fun way to bring the Mark Twain teachers together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community while raising funds for the school. And what a wonderful night Mark Twain had, as the restaurant was full of families supporting the school as well as waiting to see their teachers, Principal Janus, and a visit from Ronald McDonald .

Teachers had so much fun at this community event where they were able to interact with families and students. An amazing thirty-five teachers and staff worked from the school. The McTeacher jobs included, greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, and serving ice cream and selling Pies.

Mark Twain McTeachers had it all covered, and the families enjoyed a great evening. The school plans to use the money raised to go into the PTO fund to support the school. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out in their support. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the McDonald's in Wheeling. Special thank-you goes to Michelle Gonzalez , PTO President, who organized the entire event.
