Crispy baked chicken gets a DIY makeover

Growing up my Mom used to make a crispy chicken that was shaken in a bag with spices that came in a box and then baked.

I make a homemade version for my kids that I like much better. I've also found if you add a bit of oil to a foil lined pan when you bake it improves the texture even more. A secret ingredient of sorts in this recipe is nonstick foil. This is something that didn't exist for my Mom but when making a recipe like this it makes a world of difference because it allows the coating to stay on the chicken and not get stuck in the pan!
