W.A.C.O. holds annual end-of-winter coat drive in April

Spring is here! It's time to clean out your closets and donate your coats to the Woodfield Area Children's Organization's annual coat drive. The nonprofit organization is collecting gently-used children and adult-size coats from now until the end of April.

There is a big need for this, especially children's coats. They will take spring and summer coats too. Please launder the coats before dropping them off.

You can drop off your gently-used coats at the following locations: Corinium Cleaners, 2325 W. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg; McDonald's, 522 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg; or McDonald's, 1775 Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows.

Corinium Cleaners will clean the coats, if necessary, and then W.A.C.O. will distribute them to disadvantaged families in the northwest suburbs and Kane County.

The Woodfield Area Children's Organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. W.A.C.O. has been serving disadvantaged children in Chicago's northwest and western suburbs since 1979. Visit www.waco4kids.org or like them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/waco4kids/.
