Fundraiser benefits Boys & Girls Club of Lake County

The Boys & Girls Club of Lake County held its annual benefit Saturday, March 5, at the Deer Path Inn in Lake Forest and raised more than $210,000 in support of Club programs.

More than 200 guests adorned in "James Bond" themed attire attended the soiree and danced the night away. Live and silent auctions, as well as photo opps with "Sean Connery," added to the event.

Benefit co-chairs Tina Ballis and Evelyn Stamelos said they were thrilled with the success of the event and the outpouring of kindness demonstrated by club donors.

Allstate was this year's presenting sponsor. Since the club's founding, Allstate has been a significant partner, providing financial support and hands-on engagement with a commitment of caring for the young people served by the club.

"We are proud and honored that they are with us for our benefit," said Cesilie Price, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Lake County.

The benefit supports the club's mission to inspire all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Other sponsors included BMO Harris Bank, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, IDEX Corporation, Illinois Tool Works (ITW), Lake Forest Bank, Libertyville Bank and Trust and PwC.
