Tickets for art center gala

Tickets are on sale for The Art Center - Highland Park's 56th annual gala, "The Art of Expression," at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5. This benefit features art, entertainment, awards, food and drinks, and is the center's largest fundraising event of the fiscal year to make art accessible to everyone throughout the year. Only 300 tickets are available. This year, the center is presenting awards to three honorees: Meg Siegler Callahan and Jonathan Plotkin (current board of directors) and faculty honoree, Kay Thomas. Individual tickets are $150, or $130 for members, and can be purchased online at www.TheArtCenterHP.org or by calling (847) 432-1888. All gala proceeds benefit The Art Center − Highland Park's Student Scholarship Fund and Outreach Programs, giving students of all ages access to the arts.
