Water Street Studios call for entries: 'Stars & Stripes'

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Flag Day, Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water St. in Batavia, is looking for artwork inspired by the American flag.

The exhibition is part of a citywide celebration of Flag Day in Batavia, which was the longtime home of the "Father of Flag Day," Bernard Cigrand.

The show will be June 10 to July 3. There are no size restrictions. All artists are responsible for delivery and pickup. All media will be considered. All work must be original. It should include work title, dimensions, year, medium, and price.

The deadline for submission is Tuesday, May 10. The entry fee is $35 or $25 for members. There is a $300 Best of Show award.
