Citizenship classes offered at Schaumburg library
Preparation classes for those desiring U.S. citizenship are open for registration at the Schaumburg Township District Library.
"U.S. Citizenship Preparation Class" runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays until Thursday, May 26, in the Adult Classroom of the Central Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.
Those signing up for the class must show their green card. Classes began Thursday, March 3, however, registration will remain open until Friday, March 18.
Those registering on March 18 must stay for the class, according to library Literacy Coordinator Helen Stewart.
