Elk Grove Township launches new logo

Elk Grove Township has a revised logo to represent the connection between the township with the communities it serves, officials said.

The logo previously included the tagline "Continuing the Tradition," but that was replaced with "Empowering People Through Community." Six stars also were added, representing the township, and the municipalities of Elk Grove Village, Mount Prospect, Rolling Meadows, Arlington Heights and Des Plaines. The logo still contains an image of an elk.

The revised logo comes as the township organizes the Elk Grove Township Agency Collaborative, a coalition of more than 40 social service agencies, churches and government bodies aimed at exploring partnerships, providing referrals and coordinating efforts to help community members.
