Holy Week Worship at Grace Lutheran Church Glen Ellyn

Grace Lutheran Church, 493 Forest Avenue in downtown Glen Ellyn will be offering many opportunities to worship during Holy Week this year. Palm Sunday Services are on March 20, 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Grace will be worshipping with Eco-Palms purchased through Lutheran World Relief. These palms are harvested without clear-cutting, and the profits go to the people doing the actual harvesting and sorting in the same communities where they are grown. That means they receive 5-6 times the pay they would usually receive, a fair-trade practice that improves communities by allowing for better education, clean water and improved health.

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday Services are scheduled at 7:00 PM with communion offered at the Maundy Thursday Service. There is no communion served at the Good Friday Service. There are two Easter Sunday Worship Services that include communion and the Grace Choir Easter hymns. The times are 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. An Easter Egg Hunt for children is offered from 9:00 AM -9:45 AM. and a hospitality time with refreshments is offered for members, guests and all visitors to Grace as well. . All are welcome.
