Medline signs pact with Premier Inc.

MUNDELEIN - Medline recently announced a three-year group purchasing agreement with Premier Inc., a leading health care improvement company that unites an alliance of approximately 3,600 U.S. hospitals and 120,000 other providers.

Through this agreement, Premier members are able to receive negotiated pricing on a comprehensive range of Medline surgical instruments, including clamp needle holders, retractors and scissors.

"From surgical instruments to custom procedure trays and personal protective apparel, Medline has been providing Premier's members with medical supplies for more than 20 years," said Mark Parry, vice president of national accounts, Medline. "We are honored to have a long-standing relationship with a leading health care improvement company that like us is committed to ensuring health care systems are armed with high quality products that help enhance patient outcomes."

As the timely delivery of products is critical to providing quality patient care, Medline's 40 distribution centers located throughout the U.S. are able to help Premier members quickly receive products.

The contract is effective through Jan. 31, 2019.
