Candidate forum set for Saturday at Gail Borden Library

The League of Women Voters of the Elgin Area will present a candidate forum for the 2016 primary election from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin.

The league is inviting the community to become better-educated voters and to bring any questions for the candidates.

Doors open at 1:30 pm in the library's Meadows Community Rooms on the first floor.

The forum is co-sponsored with the Gail Borden Public Library.

The moderated candidate forum will include: 8th Congressional District; State Senator, 22nd District; Kane County Board Chairman; Kane County Auditor; Kane County Coroner; and Kane County Board for District 20 and 22.
